The Kronberg Academy’s new study centre has a new concert hall. Its acoustics are appreciated by soloists and chamber orchestras alike. Raimund Trenkler, the founder and artistic director of the Kronberg Academy, wanted nothing more and nothing less for the renowned training centre for string players and pianists than “a place through which music is created, not just passes through, and invites people to listen to it in the process.” In short, a workroom of music. Now, this wish has come true: after five years of construction, the Casals Forum has opened in Kronberg.
